Bali: An Underwater Paradise

Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, is not just about stunning beaches and lush landscapes. Beneath the waves lies a vibrant underwater world that makes it a prime destination for scuba divers. From colourful coral reefs to encounters with majestic manta rays, Bali offers diverse diving experiences for all levels.

Top Diving Spots

·      Nusa Penida: Known for manta rays and the rare Mola Mola.

·      Tulamben: Home to the USAT Liberty, a WWII shipwreck teeming with marine life, and accessible from the shore.

·      Sidem: The ultimate macro dive, you won’t know where to look!

·      Menjangan Island: Boasts pristine coral gardens and wall dives.

·      Amed: Great for macro photography and spotting unique critters.

Best Time to Dive

While diving is possible year-round, the period from April to November generally offers the most favorable conditions. However, each season has its unique advantages:

  • April to June and September to November: Excellent overall conditions

  • July to August: Peak season for Mola Mola, but also the busiest tourist period

  • December to March: Better for manta rays, but be prepared for occasional rainy days

Remember that water conditions can vary daily, so always check with local dive centres for the most up-to-date information.
