Known as the ‘Jewel of the Red Sea’, El Quseir has the reputation of providing the very best shore based diving in the Egyptian Red Sea. Diving as all around El Quseir there is extremely varied and numerous pristine coral gardens, challenging wall dives, off shore ergs, sea grass meadows and extensive cavern systems.
WHY WE LOVE DIVING IN EL QUSEIR
It is super quiet and totally unspoilt with amazing marine life
Grab your buddy and go - it is as simple as that!
Dive when you want, as often as you want for as long as you want
EL QUSEIR GALLERY
Diving in El Quseir
The dive sites are uncrowded, often it is only you, your group and the guide underwater! And the marine life is plentiful, with exceptional corals, and some big stuff too! Turtles, dolphins, dugong, sharks and stunning macro life are the real draws, and with day trips to dive the wreck of the Salem Express - a must dive site, and the deep offshore reefs of Elphinstone, the choices are endless.

What really draws us to El Quseir is the abundance of caverns, unlike the rest of the Red Sea. There are numerous systems offering the adventurous diver something very different. Many people say that the best course they have done is the Rescue Diver course. We agreed until we did the Cavern Diver programme at Roots Luxury Dive Camp in El Quseir – the course is excellent for advanced diving as well as for its main focus, entering caverns and caves!
