The Pelicano is situated on Cayo Largo del Sur, a beautiful island where time seems to stand still. 

 

The Pelicano sits on right on the beachfront, where white sand and crystal clear waters are standard. All inclusive board basis controls those hidden dive-trip costs , and this really is a perfect hotel for divers, with the dive centre being a mere 5 minutes away. Transport to and from the dive centre is provided of course, and for non-divers, this is a beautiful beachfront hotel offering peace and quiet, with plenty to do in the hotel and the surrounding areas.

Our preferred dive centre, Marlin Cayo Largo del Sur sits on its own jetty and right next to the turtle sanctuary.  This is an SSI, ACUC and CMAS accredited dive centre.  Full changing facilities, drying racks, rinse pool, showers and toilets are all on site, as well as secure kit storage facilities.  Equipment hire is also available.
